I’d like to think I’m a pretty simple girl. Hand me over a diet coke for breakfast, a bowl of macaroni and cheese for lunch and a frozen pizza for dinner and I’m good. Never mind, after I typed that out I realized I’m actually just an unhealthy eater. Regardless, in most situations I prefer simple over fuss. Unless we are talking hotels. I’m a hotel snob. Sue me. However, when it comes to clothes, I am allllll for easy. As long as it looks cute and feels good I’m golden. When I went on a hunt recently for a great pair of basic black suede pumps, I looked at one place and one place only [I’ll give you a hint – it starts with N and ends with ordstrom]. If you are still struggling I’ll let the cat out of the bag, Nordstrom. The home of all great shoes. After browsing their insane inventory, I spotted these beauties and the rest was history. One click of a button, zero dollars paid for shipping [that never gets old] and a few days later they showed up at my doorstep, but even more perfect than I had imagined.
Here’s the thing – I have several great loves in the men department. First we have Shawn. The man who actually has to put up with my crazy. But then we have the other men – Vince, Sam, Jeffrey and so on. When I’m feeling down, need to celebrate an accomplishment, or just down right need my feet to look pretty, these are my guys. Thankfully Sam came through in the clutch when it came to the perfect pump.
