Currently I'm....

+ Not on a yacht, however, all of the blog geniuses say things like "have a great first photo in every blog post!" so I'm just obeying the smart ones of the world.

+ Listening to my boy Thomas Rhett. He is my Bruno Mars of country music, the way he moves and dances around, mmmmm baby. Add in the admiration I have for his wife and well, I wish they would adopt me. Add that to the list of 2017 goals.

+ Drinking a La Croix water. Peach-Pear flavor to be exact, which just so happens to be the same flavor that everybody tells me they hate, so that's fun.

+ Eating NOTHING. You guys this never happens which is why I had to document those 30 seconds in my life that I didn't have something in my mouth. You can take that as you please....

+ Thinking about the fact that I leave for California in a few short days and am incredibly unprepared. If you could see the state of my office, my brain, and anxiety levels you would understand. Regardless, Alt Summit, here I come!

+ Struggling with how A.D.D. I am. It's to the level that I need medication and I know this. But I also know that medication requires pills and I am a gagger so no thank you. Add that to the list of things you didn't need to know about me...

+ Wearing two different pair of Hunter boots because decisions need to be made and I simply can't make them. Pale mint or glossy red? Glossy red or pale mint? Pale red or glossy mint? Both? Neither? Except, HOW AM I SUPOSSED TO BE COOL IF I DON'T OWN A PAIR OF HUNTER BOOTS!?!??! Help a sister out, which color do we do ladies?

+ Feeling like I should probably start working out. Mostly because bikinis showed up on my doorstep today and yikes, homegirl isn't ready for that bikini stuff anytime soon. It's okay though, I'm losing weight right now while not eating during the writing of this blog post.

+ Scheming how I can convince my husband that dinner just isn't going to happen tonight in our kitchen, but that we indeed need to go out somewhere instead. And now I remember why I'm not ready for bikinis.

+ Looking forward to watching this week's Bachelor episode, because that's the type of thing you look forward to when you don't have a life and enjoy watching trainwrecks.

+ Genuinely afraid that I might pee my pants. Gotta go ladies and gents! Literally, peace out.

  1. I'm drinking peach pear La Croix right now too! So good, I think it's my favorite flavor I've tried so far. Also, you need both of those boots! Like, need. I have the red ones and wear them all the time. I also have a matte purple pair, and I love having options. But, if I came across those mint ones..... I would need those too.. haha

  5. Red Hunter boots! While I do love the mint green and any color remotely "beachy", I do think the green is more of a trend. The red are classic and you will never ever tire of them. I was late jumping on the Hunter boot bandwagon as well and ended up with the glossy gray color. LOVE.

  7. Red boots! ( but I've always been partial to red!)

  8. Love red it's my favorite color, but the glossy mint seems more beach, and seems to fit California more. Just started following you, and have ordered so much from your recent posts! Got 2 boxes from Nordstroms today . Look forward to more blogs and posts, you look cute in either boot, you just can't go wrong.

  9. When Erin is your spirit animal in basically every way! LOVE this post. Also, I think mint goes better with that particular outfit but in general I like the red better. Red is timeless!

  12. Red boots! I want to be cool and own hunter boots also, but I felt like I was in between sizes 😢. I love La Croix and I live in Milwaukee and loved watching all our local spots on this weeks episode of the Bachelor!

  14. Red! Looks great in any reason! Plus, with the boot liner Hunter makes they came double as a snow boot! Win win.

  15. I love the red. I think they go with every season. Plus, if you use the hunter boot liner (fleece) they can double as snow boots, win win. (As if I need to justify the reasons to buy them, haha). 👢

  16. I say blue so if you listen to everybody else and get the red ones then send me the blue;)

  17. Mint because everybody will have the Red!

  18. Red is classic and predictable. The blue is a step outside the box. Love them both, but I'd do red.

  19. Hahahaha! I love your posts. You always make me smile. I would go with the mint green boots. Thomas Rhett is quickly gaining on my radar. I definitely am not bikini bod ready yet! Maybe it's time to take those yoga pants to an actual yoga class!

  20. Neither. Unless you are regularly tromping through muddy puddles or fields, you don't need them. Regular flat boots will be much more comfy.

  21. Red - and thank you for the humor this morning! Great job and enjoy California. I must say I woke up to 39 degrees and thought I was in Chicago. Enjoy!

  22. I like the peach-pear flavor! I'm drinking tangerine right now. I'd pick the red boots!

  24. I totally understand the stress of the decision, because I can't choose either! I love the minty green ones because they just seem happy, fun, springy (and man do we need spring here in the midwest) and colorful...but the red might go with more!?!? As for the ADD, I totally understand that too as I was diagnosed just a few years ago. I took some meds for a bit but didn't like the way they made me feel sometimes, and there was the cost, so I stopped. Knowing what was "wrong" with me was a big help because I'm constantly learning ways to help manage some of my biggest issues. Sometimes are better than others. Have so much fun at Alt! It's a bucket list for me, so make sure you take us with you and share your experience!!

  25. Red! Great for Fall, Winter and Spring. Mint won't look so great in the Fall.

  26. Red for fall. Mint for spring. I wear my black in fall and would love to have mint for the spring. And I'd also love to have red for fall, but 3 sounds excessive :-)

  27. The only logical answer to the Hunters is both ....

  28. the only logical thing to do about the boots is both,

  29. Hahha love the introduction. Btw, I've been wanting a pair of hunter boots for a while.

PS Bring them to cali, because it's been raining like crazy.

  30. Obviously you need both pairs! A Spring pair and a Fall pair ;)

  32. RED hunter boots. Classic color - keep it simple. FYI - there are La Croix facebook groups that will help you locate your fav flavors are various stores in your area...just sayin!
