Three Things Thursday

1. My current situation is this // it's 6:50 am. I'm laying in bed with a lovely headache that I woke up with, delaying going to the grocery store to pick up all of the belongings for sloppy joes that I am making for a work carry-in today. There's something about browning 5 pounds of ground beef first thing in the morning that makes me want to vomit. Basically this Thursday is killing it so far if you can't tell.

2. I have neglected to formally introduce you to my new nephew which is quite a shame because he really is a cute little dude AND he agreed to watch the bachelor finale with me this past Monday so major brownie points for that kid. He also has hair like you wouldn't believe which somewhat fills my fantasy of having a monkey so that's fun too. Goochie goo baby boo. Everybody say "hiiiiiiiiii Corban!" [I think he's saying it back to you as we speak].

 3. I just remembered it's St. Patrick's Day. When I loaded my TimeHop app the other day it showed me that 7 years ago I had asked on Facebook "Does anybody know of anything fun going on tonight for St Patrick's Day?" When I read that I cringed and thought "ewwww - why did I want to to go out then? That sounds awful!" Basically I'm insanely old and lame now. My plans tonight consist of eating ice cream cake with my family and then watching basketball in my pajamas. Maybe I'll put green food coloring in my chamomile tea or something if I decide to get real festive.

Now, for the exciting part of today's post. If you've been around this blogging thing for a length of time you may remember the term "link-up party" which yeah, I hardly remembered either. When three of my favorite ladies reached out to me and asked if I wanted to join them today for their Three Things Thursday post while inviting all of you to join in too I was of course "yesssssssssssssssssssssss" so here we are. Here's a few words from the hosts of this idea, The Foley FamCoffee-n-Ink and Absolute Mommy

I got to hang with these beauties a few years ago at elevate conference

"A major goal this year is to engage this wonderful blogging community consistently. What better way than to link up with blog friends! Together, the three of us came up with Three Things Thursday. Just three things to talk or write about. Five seemed like too many and "one thing" was like we weren't even trying! So any three things that are on your mind. Any three pictures from Instagram. Three complaints about your day/week. Three of your favorite treats. Seriously. Any three things!  So write it. Publish it. Yell it from the mountain tops! Just be sure you come back and link it up here! For some extra fun follow us on Instagram for some three things posts! Use the #threethingsthursday, and let's start talking!"

You heard the ladies! Get your posts written, link them up below and then share it all over the green world. Can't wait to hear about your three things this lovely Thursday.

I read and appreciate every one of your comments. Thanks for stopping by my space and sharing a piece of yourself on this huge ole internet. I meant that in the least creepy way possible. I'm just good at making everything awkward. Anyhow, thank you for your comments. They make me smile :)
