My Secret Beauty Weapon

It all started one random day when I was doing what I do best, scrolling through my Instagram feed, when I saw somebody post a photo of her beloved Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant [most likely right behind somebody else who just posted a photo of macaroons] and I was immediately drawn in. "Wait - a deodorant that I can spray on that won't leave any visible residue?!" You guys, I don't think you realize the impact this was about to have on my life. Before this random day I was the queen of armpit clumps, I kid you not. Ask my friends, ask my husband, heck ask my dog. They will all tell you that wherever I was, there was a trail of white behind me. But then, oh but then, I found my way to my local grocery store and picked up my own bottle of Dove Dry Spray to see if it would live up to my lifestyle.

A year later here I am to tell you that ladies, it's legit.

sensitive // nourished beauty

Just a spray or two of the Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant and it goes on instantly dry while providing 48 hours of odor and wetness protection all while moisturizing those little pits of yours. Winnnnnnnning.

I have learned as I get older that it's the small things that make a big difference in how you look and feel about your overall appearance. Not having to worry about what's going on under there or on the outside of your clothes leaves me stress-free and confident to take on whatever the day may bring...

Rest assured, it holds up to the head boppin', color wearin', clothes lovin' days. Don't be the last to try this latest beauty trend -- try Dove today!

[thank you tina herschberger photography for shooting the photos in this post]

    1. I haven't had that problem personally (and so sorry that you are!) however I would recommend waiting a minute or two until you put your shirt on to avoid that happening!

    2. I will have to say, that I'm loving this product! Test day #4, and not only do I not have a trail of white behind me or on my clothes, but it holds up to it advertised protection. I guess this weekend while doing the 'test drive' i was anxious and in a hurry - i took your advice, waited awhile and didn't have anymore problems.

  6. Funny story here....I just skimmed this post and saw Dove "dry" and I live on dry shampoo but haven't found one I like yet (the smells....accckkkkk!). So, seeing this - I went RIGHT OUT and bought Dove Dry Shampoo. Even thought that is NOT what you were promoting. (I haven't tried it yet, so we'll see...). But Dove should give you some sort of bonus for that, don't you think? And noteworthy - I obviously go back and re-read when I time to do more than skim, which is why I found out you weren't promoting dry shampoo at all. LOL!

  7. Yes! I used to use aerosol pit juice back in high school (along with loootttsa aerosol Aquanet for my sky-high late 80's 'do :P), but I had forgotten about it. No more white crumbles flying around in my kickboxing class! And like Stephanie E above, I also have that same Stitch Fix shirt in gray. I think I like the pink/purple better - so pretty! Love your blog, by the way.

  8. I use that deodorant too! My only complaint is that it's cold when it sprays on. Otherwise it's been great! Also, I'm so jealous that the shirt fit you so well! I loved it when I pulled it out of the box and then it didn't fit properly!

I read and appreciate every one of your comments. Thanks for stopping by my space and sharing a piece of yourself on this huge ole internet. I meant that in the least creepy way possible. I'm just good at making everything awkward. Anyhow, thank you for your comments. They make me smile :)
