If there is one thing that I will drive 45 minutes for, it’s Chick-fil-A nuggets. There’s just something about those little guys that my mouth can”t seem to get enough of. Because my time was limited last night I couldn’t just hop in my car and make the trek over there to satisfy my period induced cravings [is there anything more intense really?] so instead I got wise, went to my best friend Pinterest, and confided in her to fulfill my dreams. Thankfully, she did not disappoint. I found myself on this blog post and went to down. They did not disappoint and even my husband agreed that they were absolutely delicious and necessary to our well being.
Because I wasn’t planning on posting this recipe [it’s all because of you precious “I need this recipe!!” IGers], I didn’t photograph the making of these little nuggs so the best you’re going to get is the picture up top. Just trust me when I say you need to make them. Also trust me when I say you must also make the special Chick-fil-A sauce to go with them! Here we go..
Chick-fil-A Chicken Nuggets Ingredients [serves 4]

1 Large Egg
1 Cup Milk
1 lb. Skinless and Boneless Chicken Breasts
1¼ Cup Flour
2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
½ tsp Chili Powder
Peanut Oil for Frying [may also use Canola Oil]
    Directions:
    1. In a large bowl whisk milk and egg together.
    2. Cut chicken into cubed size bites while trimming off any extra fat.
    3. Place the chicken into the milk mixture and mix it so that all of the chicken is coated. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
    4. In another large bowl combine all of the dry ingredients listed above and mix together.
    5. In a large pan pour in the oil at least one inch deep and place on medium to high heat.
    6. Remove the chicken from refrigerator and place about 8 pieces into the flour mixture, making sure to coat all chicken pieces fully.
    7. Place the chicken into the hot oil and cook each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
    8. After cooked, place the chicken on paper towels to soak up any extra oil before serving. Sprinkle with extra salt if necessary.
    9. Repeat the same steps with the rest of the chicken and serve.
    10. Make the sauce below to dip them in!

    Chick-fil-A Sauce Ingredients [serves 4]
    ½ Cup Mayo
    2 tsp Prepared Mustard
    1 tsp Lemon Juice
    2 Tbsp Honey
    1 Tbsp BBQ sauce

    Directions:
    1. Mix all ingredients together
    2. Serve alongside chicken nuggets and enjoy!

And there you have it – the best dinner you ever did see.
