Cue the dust, disaster, and stomachache. The time has arrived for the demolition of our guest bathroom and master bathroom. Because having our house in some sort of calm, clean, normality gets boring after after awhile, we have decided to tear it all apart again.
We knew when buying the house we would eventually be redoing these two bathrooms, we just weren’t 100% sure as to when. Well, the time has arrived my friends.
To bring you up to speed on why we are redoing the bathrooms and what they look like in their current state I figured I would fill you in. As of now, the guest bathroom is over sized and ugly while the master bathroom is under sized and equally as ugly.
Here is the current guest bathroom….
[I made sure to pick up for these photos ;)]
And here is the current master bathroom….
Because they back up to each other we have decided we are going to make the guest bath smaller (or at least bring it to a normal sized guest bathroom and take it from two separate sink areas to one), and make the master bathroom larger (as in bring in two sink areas we can stop fighting over who is going to brush their teeth first at night).
While I am so excited for all of the changes to happen and watch the transformation over the next month (literally. a month. hence the stomachache I mentioned earlier) I am also ready for my house to be back to normal. Bare with me over the next several weeks if my blog posts are hit or miss — I will do my best to be here as much as possible, however there may be a night or two when I have decided to drown myself in a bottle of wine and consume way too much cheese.
Signing off from the current state of my house….wish me luck!
