Stitch Fix Day #2 [Warehouse + Photo Shoot]

October 20, 2014

And then it dawned on me a whole month later that I still haven’t posted about the rest of my time at Stitch Fix. Today I’m here to rectify [totally awkward word] the situation. On the second day in San Francisco, we were taken to the Stitch Fix warehouse, also commonly referred to The Hizzy. This place is both ginormous and amazing. It was like Heaven for clothes. Except these clothes weren’t dead, they were fully alive and sparkly and plaid and striped and colorful and OMG I NEEDED THEM ALL. What I forgot to warn the ladies at Stitch Fix of is that I am that girl who walks into a store and can’t keep my hands off of everything that I am not supposed to touch. My husband and friends who follow the rules adore this about me 😉 Needless to say I tried my best to not get all touchy feely with what was surrounding me but it was hard. Here are some photos of our time at the warehouse, get ready to feast your eyes on the goodness that abounds.

While there we were given the opportunity to put together an entire fix from start to finish. This meant running [literally] up and down the aisles to find all of the five items, to folding all of the items, to wrapping them up all pretty with tissue paper and stickers. I have never felt more incapable of a job in my life. Whoever said folding clothes and then wrapping them up in tissue paper is easy is a liar and we all know where liars go.

After our adventures at The Hizzy, we were taken away for our afternoon activities which consisted of getting our hair and make-up done for a classic Stitch Fix photo shoot. It was a rough day let me tell ya 😉 Have any of you experienced the greatness that is the The Dry Bar? We don’t have these masterpieces in Indiana but genius I tell you. Walk in, wash your hair, and then they style it however you so desire. I could get used to that treatment.

And then it was time to act like I knew what I was doing.

That day at Stitch Fix is certainly one of the best days I have had in my 28 years of life. Thank you ladies of SF, ya’ll made this girl get to live out her confetti emoticon dreams.
