Open Me. No But Seriously, Do.

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Open Me, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #OpenMeHoliday  https://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.

And just like that, another weekend in the history books. This also means several more days have passed since I last mentioned I haven’t began to make a dent in my Christmas shopping list. This afternoon I definitely had a “come to Christmas” moment with myself where I nearly began crying and/or punching myself in the face for procrastinating on this whole thing. Every year I tell myself I’ll be different. I’ll start earlier, not allow myself to get down to the wire where I begin hating life, and I won’t focus 99% on the food that accompanies Christmas but the other aspects as well.

Which reminds me, my bestie who resides in Nashville made mention to me the other night that she has had her gifts purchased since October. OCTOBER. As in pre-Halloween, pre-Thanksgiving, pre-Jesus basically. This of course then reminded me that one of those gifts she purchased in October was most likely for me because well, I can’t imagine why there wouldn’t be a gift for me… 😉 So then panic naturally sets in as it does for almost every “oh crap” moment in my life and I quickly decided I needed to get my “ish” together. You see this friend of mine, we will call her Aubree for all practical purposes being that her name is actually Aubree and calling her something other than that wouldn’t be very practical, won’t be home on Christmas. And that makes my little ever loving procrastinating heart sad, because girlfriend needs some Christmas love and spirit no matter how many miles separate her from her family or best friend.

And this is where my “ish” came together. I discovered Open Me. Not did I just discover Open Me, but I devoured the website for hours that could have been spent actually out purchasing gifts but whatever, this is a start. So here’s the deal–Open Me is the hot spot for all of the cards you will ever need. Not only are they funny, witty, pleasing on the eye, but they can also be free. Because my lady love will not be in the flesh in Indiana for the days leading up to Christmas I needed to remind her of one thing….

Amen.
Customizing the card was the best (and easiest) part of all…check it. After selecting the above card, I was able to add a photo and a personalized note.
As you can see above (and below) you have two options when it comes to the card delivery. You can either do email which is free, or you can have it sent via real mail (hoping you all remember what that means) for $4. I personally like the idea of a real card showing up on her doorstep since I can’t physically appear at her home on Christmas Eve so that’s what I went with. If you choose email, you have the option to send immediately or you can schedule it to be sent in the future. The cool thing is if you select the future you can have other people “sign” the card before it arrives to your recipient. How’s that for technology?

I am so thankful for companies like Open Me that make keeping in touch no matter the season so much easier and just as personalized. If you have anybody you’d like to send a card to today, try this out. You won’t be sorry. And if you are, I suggest this card.

the inside states “it’s nacho fault, it’s mine”
