The Dangers Of Boredom (ie: this post)

Pirate Flag by Kenny Chesney on Grooveshark
Sometimes vacation recap posts bore me. Boredom is a very dangerous thing for me..it usually leads to some type of unnecessary purchase or twelve reasons why I should follow my passions and stop doing anything logical. Needless to say my husband loves when I get bored. And because I believe that if vacation recap posts bore me sometimes, they have to bore you as well. I don't need any of you going out and buying some piece of crap that you don't need or quitting your day job on me, so I am foregoing the vacation talk today. Similar to how the bachelors and bachelorettes forego their individual rooms for the evening and stay together in their fantasy suite. Now that is a good way to beat boredom without spending money. Well unless you get knocked up in the fantasy suite...that's an expensive tab for the evening which will haunt you for the rest of your life. I think I'll stick to Target thank you very much.

I'm not sure where any of this is going. One minute I'm talking about following your passions and the next minute I'm talking about getting passionate. I'm still learning the whole "how not to make every situation awkward" thing. One of these days I'll get there kids.

In other news you should all experience how good my laundry smells. I know your eyebrows just raised a tiny bit at that sentence but I'm serious. Please whatever you do just go buy these in the coconut lemongrass scent pronto. You may have to find a consultant to buy from, so hey yo Scentsy peeps-leave a comment below with your info so we can hit that mother up. By mother I mean you and really, we won't "hit" but rather make you a millionaire. Or something.

Okay what else. We are seeing Kenny Chesney in concert tonight so that's rather exciting. It will be really exciting if this cold decides get the flock outta here so I don't have to be standing front and center with Kleenex hanging out of my nose. You can judge but it does provide the best blockage of any drippage going on. Plus I'm sure Kenny wouldn't discriminate against the Kleenex look. I'll tell him it's my pirate flag and I'm his island girl. He'll understand.

I just said drippage. Moving on.

Remember how I had that blogger crush link-up one time and I told you how all one of my biggest crushes was Ashley aka Little Miss Momma? Well this happened over the weekend.
So that was fun. She tried to come across like she isn't really 4'11 but don't be fooled, she is. I mean can you handle the cuteness? Me either. One thing to note--I really don't appreciate the pleating or whatever it is going on under my lady loves in this dress. I mean why? It looks like a bird swooped in and tried to eat my dress with it's beak and left it all bunched up or something. Fashion these days. I don't understand.

Okay I think my mind has stopped coming up with topics for today.

Real quick--the above picture has me thinking--if you could meet one person, like anybody, who would it be? Be a peach and tell me below. I'll do my best to make that happen for you (and by "do my best" I mean read your comment and then laugh while saying something like "good luck with that sucker").

But seriously-good luck.

You just won a million dollars. What's the first thing you would buy?
OMG a hot tub. Yes,that makes me sound super Jersey Shore but they are SO relaxing!! Wouldn't you love to come home, pour yourself a glass of wine, and chill out in the hot tub after a long day at work??

good answer lady..good answer.

When did you start blogging and why?
I started blogging in 2010, nearly a year after my husband and I got married. It started out as a way to keep a digital scrapbook of all the fun things we were doing. I decided this year that my New Years resolution was to "amp up" my blog because I really enjoy writing and blogging gives me a great escape!

I have to know--what are your honest thoughts on macaroni and cheese?
Mac and cheese? I love it. I will order it any time it's on a menu. (In the South, it counts as a vegetable at all restaurants that serve a "meat and 3 veggies" plate. I love it boxed, I love it homemade, I just love it. You can't go wrong with carbs and you can't go wrong with cheese--may as well mix the two, right?

amen woman. amen.

What is your favorite form of social media?
I am really getting into Twitter! I LOVE feeling like I am bff with celebs simply because I follow them! It's also a great way to see a quick run down of what your friends are doing without having to check out their individual pages each day.

so like, should we check you out there? okay..

  6. Have fun at the concert! I read that before each show, he sits in all different sections to see how he can reach everyone in his audience. I thought that was so cool.

  7. That was all a rambling of goodness! Love little miss momma- how fun you got to meet her. I'm thinking I would love to meet Kelly Clarkson- she seems fun and we could jam out to her songs together. As long as I don't come off as a weirdo fanstalker that is.

  10. haha love! It was great to meet you this weekend, but if I had to pick someone else, I'd have to pick either Tina Fey or Kate Micucci (from Garfunkel & Oates). Hilarious ladies!

  11. Ever since seeing the new Spiderman movie I've wanted to meet Andrew Garfield and kiss him on the mouth. But I also don't want to get in a catfight with Emma Stone, so....? And I only think they're still dating because they were several months ago and that's about the speed that I keep up with celebrinews, because honestly, I have no idea who is currently dating whom.

I read and appreciate every one of your comments. Thanks for stopping by my space and sharing a piece of yourself on this huge ole internet. I meant that in the least creepy way possible. I'm just good at making everything awkward. Anyhow, thank you for your comments. They make me smile :)
