My Heart Belongs To Peanut Butter

With Valentines Day right around the corner I thought I would ask Amanda to share with you all a sweet little treat to make for your better half, your best friend, your momma, or best of all..for you. If you know me at all, you know that peanut butter holds a very big place in my heart, so when I found out that these little babies were jam packed with both PB AND M&M's..well, I was sold.
And to you 30 pounds, I say bring it.
Enjoy.

If you want to make someone feel special, these cookies stuffed with peanut butter m&ms do the trick. They're adorable and soft and gooey in in the inside... and very easy to make!

Peanut Butter Chip Heart Cookies

{makes 1-2 dozen small hearts}

2 1/4 C organic flour
1 C raw sugar
1 C butter {2 sticks}, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 C peanut butter m&m's or chocolate chips

-Preheat the oven to 350. Beat the butter until smooth. Stir in the sugar and extract. Beat in both of the eggs. Add in the flour, salt and baking soda, mixing together. Once everything is combined, carefully fold in the peanut butter m&ms or chocolate chips.

-Cover a 9x15 pan with waxed paper or aluminum foil. Lightly spray. Pour in the cookie batter, spreading it out evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes -- though please keep an eye on it because my oven bakes much slower than most! Bake until just golden brown on top. Once cooled, cut into heart shapes.

It's so awkward when drool starts running down your face while reading blogs isn't it?
Thanks again Amanda...make sure to check out her beautiful blog over here for more great recipes and mouth watering photos. She gets me every time.

Real quick..this reminds me. What are you getting your man for Valentines Day? I must know these things. And really I just must know just so that I know what to go get mine. Please and thank you.

Today's featured sponsor is Allison from Life On LeRoy
Just like those peanut butter cookies up above, Allison is a sweet little treat. I was fortunate enough to see this beautiful face last fall at Influence Conference and it has been a joy following along on her blog since.
Allison is your normal girl who loves finding the beauty in the everyday things. I absolutely love this post where she talks about how happiness is her art. What a cool thought. While she considers her blog "just a hobby" I'd say she knows a thing or two about how to dominate (hello Pinterest superstar) this whole blogging thing. From recipes, to mommyhood, to home decor, she covers it all. You will enjoy her blog, trust me. It's a beautiful space full of a beautiful person.
