Why Blogging Rocks.

May 1, 2012

Can I just say how much I love you readers?
Like genuinely I do.
Not just in the “aww that’s sweet. they left a comment” type of love.
It’s like the “you are amazing, you just made my day, your support is mind blowing, I am the luckiest blogger in the world” kind of love.
And that’s how you all make me feel on a regular basis.

I hope you know I talk about you people frequently.
My dad and I sit and have conversations about you. you. you. and you.
And where you are from, and what you do..and how great your blog is, and blah blah blah.
My niece even learned to say “I have the nicest readers in the world” because she heard me repeating it.

You really fill my heart up. And not just mine, but other people in my life. Like yesterday–I had SO many of you leave comments, tweet me, email me, etc saying that you were praying for our friend who was having a brain tumor removed. You don’t just get that kind of support anywhere. I can tell you that the surgery is done and so far everything looks great 🙂 Thank you to each one of you who prayed for that man in the last 24 hours. He has no idea that any of you did, but I can only imagine how grateful he would be.

I never would have thought a year ago that I would have developed the kind of friendships I have through blogging. It was something so unexpected but so appreciated.

So that is why blogging rocks.
Because you people rock.
End of story.

We will play pretend that this heart was not originally intended for Keith Urban.

With that being said, I am due for some not so serious, heartfelt posts soon.
Which is why I spent all morning taking pictures of my closet{s} so I can show you how I organize my clothes//jewelry//shoes.

Thrilling I know.
Stay tuned for that epic post.

Now if you will please excuse me, I am off to attend “craft night” at my sisters house.
Here’s the deal though.
I am not going to craft. Just to drink.
That’s how us who weren’t blessed with talent roll.
We drown our lack of creativity with wine. Which really sounds like a lot more fun than what those who were blessed with creativity will be doing.
Thank you Jesus for granting me with the short end of the stick on that one.

Happy evening//morning//whatever the heck time it is when you are reading this.

Keep being awesome. It’s a good look on you.

PS. I know this is totally off subject but can we just appreciate the fact that I ate at a Japanese steakhouse this weekend that had a disco ball hanging from the ceiling? Thank you.

I went up to our busboy and asked if the restaurant turned into a dance club later in the evening.
He didn’t speak English so I had to start dancing so he knew what I was talking about.
It wasn’t awkward or anything.
Especially after he responded with “I still don’t understand”
Apparently he has never seen a white girl break it down before.
