Weekend Scenes

There is one question I've been asking myself repeatedly the last day or so.
Why oh why do weekends only consist of two days?
I don't get it.
And quite frankly I don't think I will ever get it.
And because I don't get it {nor do I think it will ever change}
I gotta make sure to live it up on those two days all that I can.
{Realization: My "livin' it up" style has transformed over the past several years}
Old age I tell ya.
Old frickin' age.
Gets ya every time.
Regardless, I loved every bit of it.
Tryin' out this whole "vegetarian" diet
Wine at noon? Why not?
Backin' up our matching thangs. Or bootys. Whatever you want to call it.

It's safe to say this weekend was the bees knees.
The shiz niz.
And freakin' fantastic.

  1. This post made me wanna go drink and eat lots of vegetarian food. That is all.;)

  2. I totally agree that 2 days is not long enough for a weekend. There's always so much to do, but 48 hours doesn't quite cut it :)

  3. Lol at 'livin it up' changing a bit with age ... these pictures look like you had a great weekend :)

  4. Cheers. Wine at noon is always a great idea. (so is being a vegetarian... I stopped eating meat years and years ago. You can do it!)

  5. Looks like a great weekend! 2 days is way too short!!

  6. No kidding. Weekends should TOTALLY be longer.

  7. Looks like a good weekend, even if it was only two days! ;)

  8. Girl, I'm with you on the two days thing! Makes. No. Sense. Anywho - looks like you had a great weekend though! You're doing so well on being a vegetarian! Go you!

  9. Looks good to me! Hubs and I had a date night Friday night and we were home by 8:00. Oh yeah, we can rock a Friday night.
    Have a fabbo week, chickee!

  10. Looks like a mighty enjoyable weekend to me. Speaking of old age, I'm the ripe age of 24 1/2 yrs. old and this weekend we had a 'girls night'. {you know the ones, where you drink too much and dance like a crazy person all night long?} Well, we met at my friends hours around 7:30pm and by the time we were done girl talking and gossiping, it was 11:00pm and no one even felt like going out anymore. Sad I tell ya, Pathetic, actually. It was an outfit waster of a night. BUT girl time is always welcomed. :)

  11. I'm with you on weekends being too short. Then having to wait 5 days until the next one? not okay.
    vegetarian is the way to go. all the cool people do it. like me. ;)
    Glad you had an awesome weekend!

  12. It looks like you had a wonderful weekend! I am a happy new follower to your blog. I love that you are trying vegetarian options. Good luck on that! I too agree that there should be more days on the weekend!

    Have a great day,

  13. If you had Chipotle then your weekend really was awesome.

  14. sounds like my kinds of weekend, AND I agree, 2 days is NEVER EVER long enough!! BOO!! P.S. Love your weekend outfit with the vest, hat, and brown boots! SUPER cute!

  15. Not feelin' all the love for vegetarianism. Local/ organic/ humanely raised meat's a better option. look for "Animal Welfare Approved"'s seal. the animals been raised on pasture by a family farmer, was treated well and met a quick, painless death. but i digress. love the blog! so funny!

  16. I have been a vegetarian for 4 years now, read the book skinny b**** and trust me you will never be able to eat meat again!

I read and appreciate every one of your comments. Thanks for stopping by my space and sharing a piece of yourself on this huge ole internet. I meant that in the least creepy way possible. I'm just good at making everything awkward. Anyhow, thank you for your comments. They make me smile :)
