Feedback Please..

I was just conversing with a dear friend (and co-worker) of mine through email and this was our dialog:

Friend: "Okay, well I am off to check your blog now."
...Suddenly cringing at the thought she was about to use her precious alloted website time at work to see that I have nothing new posted today. Uh-oh.
Me: "I haven't updated it, I don't think I am going to daily..."
Friend: "Dude, the Pioneer Woman has a top 10 tips for bloggers and she said you HAVE to update it daily.  So I'd probably just listen to her..."
...Genius. If Pioneer Woman said it, I am doing it. Or so I think.

This is where YOU, my valued readers come into play. Love it? Hate it? Think I am absolutely crazy to be convinced I can pump out a post a day? Tell me your thoughts...I appreciate you oh so much.

  Yup, its true-I am hooked.

Oh and hey, I am not wearing any sockies today. This is a sure fire way to know that Spring is on its way people. Stick around, its comin!!!

  1. Here's my two cents. Blog when you have something to blog about. Don't force one just so you blog every day. However, I love reading your blog so, blog and blog often! :) And there is truth in the statement that the more often you blog the better your following.

  2. Great advice Ash! I am taking it =) We will see how often my brain can put together posts. That will determine this blogs fate!

  3. Hello blogging friend, I also agree with Ashley. It's good to write only when you have something to say... though one thing you can do, is keep a mental note of little things you'd want to share. I do this. Sometimes I write about my day, other times I write about random thoughts or ideas... I totally think every day is do-able. But you shouldn't feel stressed if you don't have anything to say :)
    Happy Friday!

  4. Looks like we started blogging around the same time!! I'm trying to figure out the best blogging techniques too...Good luck. I enjoyed reading your entries so far :)

  5. I don't know if you should blog every day or not, but every time you do you make me laugh so keep 'em coming!

  6. Erin, here's a piece of feedback from me: I know we hardly know each other (um, same soccer team in 3rd grade?) but I really do enjoy poking into your blog every now and then to see what's going on with your life. Maybe it's a bit of stalker-ness on my part, but keep it up--you inspire me to see the joyful, small things that happen in my own life.

I read and appreciate every one of your comments. Thanks for stopping by my space and sharing a piece of yourself on this huge ole internet. I meant that in the least creepy way possible. I'm just good at making everything awkward. Anyhow, thank you for your comments. They make me smile :)
